Love Wins and Love Always Wins

Bible verses:1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NKJV “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.”

1 Corinthians13:13 NKJV. “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

*Reflections *
I was listening to the news yesterday and heard that Duke and Duchess of Sussex- Harry and Meghan just realised a podcast on Spotify. The summary statements I heard from them both are our title today “love wins, love always wins. Considering what happened to the couple when they left The Royal family to fend for themselves and Son, you will agree with them that their deep love and commitment to each other has been sustaining their relationship and family. You can never loose in a battle for love. Another example is our Father Abraham who loved God to the extent that he obeyed and left his Father’s house and traveled to a country God will show him. Abraham’s love for God enables him to obey, eventually his love for God wins and all round prosperity became his and his generation until today. Can I encourage you reading this devotional today that you make loving God and others one of your goals for this new year, I assure you that “All Round Victory and Winning shall be yours in Jesus Christ name. Remember,* Mark 12:29-32 NKJV* says “Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.””

Prayer Outlines
My Heavenly Father, teach me more about how to love you and others. As I love you and others, arise, fight every battle of my life and give me all round victory and winning in Jesus Christ name. Amen
